Chinese American Chamber of Commerce – MN (CACC-MN) has partnered with the MN Department of Human Services, in offering Project SUPPORT (Supporting Under-served Providers through Partnership, Opportunities, Resources & Technology) initiative and targeted the area hard-hit Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) childcare centers, due to COVID-19.

CACC-MN is now accepting proposals for grants and technical support for AAPI childcare business recovery and economic development effort within Twin Cities area, with below resources:

  1. Grants support AAPI Childcare center’s recovery and expansion (please refer to the Grant Application package for more details). Total $80,000 grant fund available for AAPI childcare centers (grant awards can be ranged from $5,000 – $10,000) to invest in the facility improvement and preservation/expansion of staff; and
  2. Technical Assistance Support in: a) Loan Application; b) Marketing; c) Social Media Management; and d) Web Design (please refer to the Technical Support Application package for more details).

These grants are part of CACC-MN’s efforts to support AAPI businesses. All grants will be distributed through a community-centered process, with significant guidance from local stakeholders on the tables assembled in these areas in response to the COVID-19 crises since 2020. We will begin accepting applications for this funding opportunity on March 25, 2023. THE DUE DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 20TH, 2023.  Those awards will be announced in the coming weeks.
